My son Christopher has been with Tatiana since March of 2008. When we first met at her home, I was pleased with both the appearance and comfort that we felt when we were there. Tatiana has gone to great lengths to make sure that the children's play areas are safe and secure, which gives us the opportunity to go to work without worrying about our son. The yard and outdoor play has definitely helped Christopher in his development, and doesn't hurt with his sleeping! The menu that is available to the children is well thought out and again an adventure for them to try new foods. This letter earnestly recommends Bright Beginnings Home Childcare. Our daughter has been in Tatiana's care since the age of 9 months and we are very pleased with what we have seen and experienced. Tatiana's loving, kind and flexible demeanour has made the transition from maternity leave to working mom as easy and stress free as possible. Before leaving Sophie fully in her care, Tatiana allowed Sophie and I to visit and spend some time with her and the other children, thus easing my daughter into the transition of being with a new face all day while Mommy is at work. Tatiana provides daily verbal and written communication regarding each child's day, including what they ate, when they slept and any special moment they had while in her care. (Quite impressive! I've shown it off to my friends and family!) Also much appreciated are the seasonal menus sent home, listing delicious and healthy meals to be served each day. (Sophie is exposed to a much more varied menu than the standard staples I feed her regularly!) As well, we value Tatiana's provision of monthly calendars, describing the fun and educational activities the children will be participating in each day. From an educational perspective, our daughter has learned songs, dances, cooperative play skills and a broad range of vocabulary at Bright Beginnings. Tatiana daily reinforces letters, numbers and colours taught at home and exposes the children to a wide variety of books. She regularly programs fun activities to develop fine and gross motor skills, engaging the children both in creative endeavours as well as in active play. Tatiana's ECE training and years of experience are daily reflected in her programming and demeanour while dealing with the children and even with the parents. For these reasons, our little Sophie enjoys going to "Tati's" and is always happy when we pick her up. We are very pleased to have our daughter cared by such a caring and thoughtful professional of excellent calibre. Tatiana's work experience with children and her reassuring manner made the transition from being at home to going back to work smooth both for my son and myself. Tatiana has been flexible with drop off and pick up times as well as additional days when required, settling my mind at ease for when the 'unexpected' happens! Tatiana maintains a clean, safe and nurturing environment for the children. She is dedicated to providing wholesome and nutritious, home cooked meals, even providing the menu to the parents in advance. Furthermore, she is a certified Early Childhood Educator and works diligently to plan interactive, age-related activities for the children throughout the day. Myles looks forward to his days with her and always comes home tired! Tatiana has been excellent in providing open communication regarding our child's daily activities, interactions, behaviour and development. Myles has benefited greatly from his time at Bright Beginnings!
Tatiana offers an amazing, comfortable well rounded childcare for all children. She's not afraid to work with you to achieve the goals you would like to see for your child. I have found at no time any pressure to change the way we think or do things. Tatiana is always open to new ideas, extremely reliable and a friendly smile to our son in the morning.
